3" HIGHBANKER/DREDGE CAN BE ORDERED EX; PROLINE USA  FOR INTERESTED CUSTOMERS

THE  3" PROLINE HIGHBANKER/GOLD DREDGE  FITTED WITH A HONDA 5.5HP MOTOR, HP300 SERIES PUMP IS AN AWESOME UNIT FOR ITS SIZE. THE 5.5HP MOTOR AND LARGE CAPACITY PUMP MEANS THE MOTOR CAN BE RUN AT MEDIUM REVS AND IF FITTED WITH THE T80 COMPRESSOR FOR AIR SUPPLY IT CAN ALSO BE USED AS A DREDGE AND DO THIS EFFORTLESSLY AT DEPTH.  IF REQUIRED, AS AN EXTRA, THIS DREDGE CAN BE FITTED WITH PONTOONS SO THAT IT CAN BE FLOATED LIKE A NORMAL DREDGE. THESE FLOATS CAN BE PURCHASED IF REQUIRED AT THE SAME TIME THE ORDER IS PLACED. IF ORDERED THE COMPRESSOR IS A REAL PLUS FOR THE DEEPER WATER.

IN THE HOURS THAT I HAVE USED ONE OF THESE UNITS I HAVE FOUND THEM TO HAVE UNREAL SUCTION FOR THEIR SIZE. I AM USED TO LARGER MACHINES BUT HAVE BEEN IMPRESSED BY THIS 3" UNITS ABILITY TO CHOMP THROUGH MATERIALS IN A WAY I WOULD NOT HAVE THOUGHT POSSIBLE IN THIS SIZE DREDGE. PROLINE ADVISED ME TO RUN THEM AT AROUND HALF THROTTLE WHEN DREDGING AND I HAVE FOUND THIS TO BE AN AMPLE THROTTLE SETTING. WHEN THE THROTTLE IS INCREASED THE VACUUM CREATED IS SUCH THAT IF THE HAND HAPPENS TO BLOCK THE NOZZLE ONE CERTAINLY KNOWS ABOUT IT.  THE LEGS KEEP THE BOX STABLE AND ARE IDEAL FOR MOST SUITUATIONS IN OR OUT OF THE WATER. I HAVE NOT USED THE FLOATS ON THEM AS YET, BUT THE GENT THAT BOUGHT THIS UNIT HAS USED THE FLOATS AND FINDS THEY MAKE THIS UNIT SO VERY VERSATILE. BUT IN SAYING THIS, THE 15 FEET OF SUCTION HOSE GIVES AMPLE ENOUGH REACH  OUT INTO STREAMS WHEN SUPPORTED ON THE HIGHBANKING LEGS. IN HIGHBANKING MODE IT IS A DREAM TO WORK. I HAD UNTIL RECENTLY A 3" KEENE HIGHBANKER/DREDGE THAT WOULD NOT HOLD A CANDLE TO THIS PROLINE UNIT.

LANDED AS A HIGHBANKER WITHOUT FLOATS THIS UNIT WOULD COST AROUND $5300

When we designed the Proline 3" highbanker/dredge, we built a machine that we feel addresses most of the problems associated with the 3" size. Our 3" highbanker/dredge is considerably smaller in size than our 4". It can float on its own set of pontoons which are well matched for the weight and size of this dredge or it can sit on a sturdy set of adjustable legs. Like our larger dredges, the frame bolts together not clip pins like some other dredges and is made lighter for weight savings. The smaller flotation and frame allow this dredge to be considerably narrower, shorter, and lighter than the 4". This dredge is powered by a 5.5 horse power Honda engine and our HP 300 pump, which is the only pump on the market made specifically for the 3" equipment.
The sluice box is constructed of aircraft quality aluminum and is fully welded for maximum strength. Like all of our dredges the 3" uses "Nomad" matting for 80% of the length of the sluice box and direcly under the hopper is rubber ribbed matting to show up gold when highbanking..
The overall fine gold recovery of this unit is unmatched.
