Electric Start - Chinese Petrol Motors:
Many of the Chinese petrol motors are coming with an electric start option - but no wiring details to get them set up. This is one common electric start module and the wiring for it.
Instructions:
1. Separate the black wire connector from the coil to the small shiney metal box and plug the black & yellow wires (bullet connectors) inline with it
2. The spade connector goes to the start solenoid
3. The brown wire goes to the white one coming out of the engine
4. The braid-sleeved wire goes to the +ve battery terminal (Round crimp connector)
5. The yellow & green wire goes to earth (Motor casing or battery -ve)
